I created this club for people who love Playboy magazine and the empire that surrounds it. We are here for people who have respect for the models, photographers, art directors, and the art of the magazine as a whole.


This is for people who actually read it for the articles, find it intellectually stimulating, as well as see the photography for what it is and what it isn't. Playboy magazine started off as the only magazine of it's kind, and still is today.


While magazines became pornography with raunchier and more sexually graphic content, Playboy retained a higher esteem and respect within itself with actual articles and interviews by prize-winning journalists, and retained its classy and respectful artistic nude photography throughout the years.


What I plan this club to become is an outlet for Playboy fans to show how the magazine and empire have inspired their artwork, photography, and even literature. I want this club to maintain the classy aire that Playboy has maintained over decades. Nothing sexually graphic or offensive will be posted here, nor will anything be posted which is a copyright infringement. Not only is it against deviantart's policy to post such things, it is also disrespect to anyone who has ever been associated with Playboy.


Over the next week or so I will spruce up the club with a subscription so the journals will fit with the feel of the club.


Any fan can become a member. Just send me a note. And any member can submit a deviation to the club as long as it is not against the rules, and it is somehow related to Playboy, whether it be direct like a drawing of one of the models, or indirect like interviewing someone in true Playboy style. I hope that we can all get together and share our love together.
